DESCRIPTION: It depicts a spiritual warrior blessing a mask woman who holds a xoloitzcuintle in her arms. Xolos are a rare Mexican breed, currently on the verge of extinction, who were used as guides into the afterlife 500 years ago. In this painting, the dog symbolizes a spiritual change of the woman.
