For those of you who don't know me, I am a contemporary myth painter who observes the human condition with current trends on social media and in my own personal life. From this, I see patterns of people based on topics, like shame, unconditional love and global change. These patterns are transformed into archetypes in which I will paint in a realistic manner to communicate easily to people. Everything that my archetypes wear, the position they strike, and the expression on their faces and their setting, means something. Often times the archetypes will become a protagonist in a large series of paintings, where I will utilize scene painting, still life and portraiture to tell a story about the archetypes and the problems they are battling. This is what I call contemporary mythology. Welcome to my world.
"This book is deep dive into radical contemporary female mythology where Frida Khalo and Goya meets Isis in "nepantla."
